We made it to Florida

Day 15

We made it to Florida tonight after a 500 mile drive from Charleston to Apalachicola where we met my sister, Wendy, and her husband, Carl, at Up the Creek for dinner.  Wendy & Carl have made eating at Up the Creek a first night tradition for themselves and all their guests.  We went there last year, and agree it's a must.  The fishing boats unload just below the deck where we were dining.  You can't get fresher oysters and shrimp.

After dinner we all drove to their rental on Cape San Blas where we’ll spend the next five days.  Great to see them, we haven’t seen them since October.
