We're Off!

Day 1

We’re off!  On the road by 7:50 AM driving south to Pomfret, CT,  where we enjoyed brunch with our good friend Bob.  Classic eggs benedict for Joni and Bob, and a breakfast burrito with smoke house bacon for me.   Tatter tots, sangria, Bloody Marys, & Mimosas completed the meal.  Yummy.

Leaving Pomfret around 2 pm we had a short drive to Nick & Chetty’s in Glastonbury.  There’s a hint of green in their grass and some tiny buds on the trees.  Spring is coming!   We spent the rest of the day visiting with Nick & Chetty, always a treat.  Chetty gave us some special soap for camping…definitely blog worthy.
